Ballet
Ballet technique classes provide a foundation for all other dance styles. They help develop strength, correct posture and technique. It provides students with grace and the ability to move to the music.
Theatre Craft
This class teaches the dance technique necessary for Musical Theatre performance. It prepares the body through exercise and stimulates artistic ability through dance movement. Theatre Craft aims to provide the necessary performance qualities for both amateur and professional dancers.
Tap
Tap is a rhythmic form of dance that has developed from many different origins. There are many different styles of tap dance and different styles of music used. It provides an enjoyable and rhythmical way to keep fit.
Modern Jazz
Modern Jazz is a technical style in which strength and flexibility are developed. There are many different aspects to Modern Jazz; it explores expansion, relaxation and isolations.
Freestyle
This is an energetic class which is great fun. In freestyle, students learn the latest moves to current music.
Cheerleading
Our popular cheerleading classes are taken by a qualified cheerleading instructor. In the lessons, jumps and pyramids are worked on, training the groups to perform for carnivals and displays, as well as the opportunity to take exams. We are in the process of developing a squad to take part in competitions.
Cheeracise
This is a fun and energetic fitness class. It is an excellent way to keep in shape. You will learn aerobics based routines whilst using pom poms. This class is suitable for all ages.
Contemporary
Contemporary dance began in the early part of the 20th century. Today, contemporary dance is used as a term to cover many different styles and dance techniques. Classes allow students to develop their own expression and movement vocabulary, as well as learning aspects of the techniques developed by Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham and other contemporary dance pioneers.
Yoga-based stretch
This is a gentle stretch class based on the principles of yoga, Pilates and ballet. It is suitable for all ages.
