Student Achievements


Kristianna Theologou: After successfully completing three years at Lewisham College and being part of the third year touring company, Kristianna chose to take a year out to gain more experience in teaching and other projects. In this year she has been auditioning for vocational dance courses and successfully gained a place at Millennium Performing Arts School on the three year diploma course.


Laban: This year we have had a high success rate in gaining places on the Laban pilot programme and on the Laban CAT(Centre for Advanced Training) programme. Chloe Meadows and Callum Willey both were part of the Laban pilot Programme before going on to be accepted on the Laban CAT programme. Its a big commitment where they have to go every Saturday and once during the week. Also Emily Smith, Zoe Weller, May Thompson, Daisy Hann and Ember Bates are currently attended Laban pilot every Tuesday.

Amy Keegan: Amy has been a student with us since she was about 4 years old where we have watched her progress. She attended an audition at Lewisham College where they offered her a place on the Btec 1st Diploma course. This is a three day a week course where it prepares the students for the second and third year where they become full time courses.



Nathan Thetford: After completing two years at Lewisham College Nathan successfully gained a place at Northern Ballet School, Manchester, with a full scholarship on the three year professional diploma course in dance. Nathan still attends Brooks Academy classes when ever he can. Nathan was also nominated for an I.D.T.A awards competition last February at the Royal Northern College of Music 2009.


Katy Uden: Katy went on from the school to study for a year at Lewisham College, she then went on to be accepted to a variety of dance college but decided to go to London Studio Centre on there three year degree course, where she was part of there third year contemporary company called Intoto, which she has recently graduated from. Currently she is teaching at Brooks Academy of Dance while auditioning for professional work.

Hannah Jarrett: After having attended the school for many years Hannah went on to study at The University of Winchester Studying BA (Hons) in choreography and dance studies. Hannah graduated and gained her degree in dance.




Sarah London: Sarah has attained a Degree in dance from Middlesex University. She is now using her qualification to teach at Brooks Academy, after having been a student for many years.





Jemma Naish: After having attended the school for many years Jemma went on to study at Lewisham College for two years. She attended the Laban centre for a further two years and attained a Degree in dance. Along with these achievements Jemma also worked two summers with children at Camp America.
